Machine single-shaft disk saw Altai-Mamont

Two Altai-Mamont two-saw carriages with quick-set sizes between saws and automatic workpiece feeding are designed for sawing (longitudinal cutting) of fine logs (diameter up to 260 mm) in order to obtain edged sawn timber (carriages, timber, edged boards, slats).

Each of the two spindles of a circular saw is driven through a belt drive from an electric motor with a power of 15 or 18 kW.

It has high productivity due to symmetrical cutting of workpieces from two sides in one pass. The size between the saws is set by turning the handle on the operator's side. Saws diverge and converge symmetrically about the longitudinal axis of the machine.

The log is laid in the center of the table and cut off immediately from two sides when feeding into the saw block. The workpiece clamp is provided by the clamping discs in the center - before entering the saw block and when leaving
